Celebrating Philanthropy and the Arts
Community Foundation Ireland partnership with Business to Arts

The Power of Partnership
Congratulations to all those recognised at the 2026 Business to Arts Awards, celebrating the power of partnership between business, philanthropy and the arts.
We are proud partners of the Community Foundation Ireland Arts Philanthropy Award, recognising organisations that demonstrate the transformative role philanthropy can play in supporting arts, heritage and communities.
This year’s award was presented to Ecclesiastical Insurance (Ireland) for its long-standing commitment to supporting arts, heritage and community organisations through its purpose-driven charitable ownership model. The presentation was made to David Lane by Denise Charlton on behalf of the Community Foundation and Louise O’Reilly of Business to Arts (Pictured).
Reflecting on the awards, our Chief Executive Denise Charlton said:
“As a philanthropic hub we see the arts as central to our mission to advance equality, strengthen communities and protect climate and nature.
The 2026 awards celebrate a sector which is vibrant, energetic and connected with communities.
Ecclesiastical Insurance is an outstanding winner of the Philanthropy Award. With profits contributing directly to the arts and wider charitable giving it promotes a business model which has the community at its very core. Congratulations to all winners.”
The awards once again demonstrate how strategic philanthropy, business leadership and creative ambition can come together to strengthen communities, widen participation and support a thriving cultural sector. We extend our congratulations to Business to Arts, all finalists and all winners.
