Mayo Sustainability Fund in partnership with the Sunflower Charitable Foundation Evaluation: Request for Tender

Community Foundation Ireland and the Sunflower Charitable Foundation invite proposals from suitably qualified consultants or evaluation teams to undertake an independent evaluation of the Mayo Sustainability Fund Pilot Programme (MSF).
The Mayo Sustainability Fund is a place-based funding initiative that supports organisations, projects and community-led action contributing to environmental sustainability, community resilience and positive systems change across County Mayo. Established following research and community consultation, the Fund seeks to strengthen the wider sustainability ecosystem through grant-making, collaboration, learning and collective action. To date, 15 organisations have received funding, with further grants anticipated during the pilot programme.
The successful evaluator will assess the effectiveness, impact and future potential of the Fund, examining outcomes for funded organisations, communities and the wider sustainability ecosystem in Mayo. The evaluation will help inform future strategic, operational and funding decisions and provide recommendations for the future development of the programme.
