The Energia Meenadreen and Derrysallagh Community Fund opens on Monday, 31st August and closes on Friday, 2nd October at 5pm. Please note that your organisation must first be registered on our Portal before an application can be started, so be sure to allow enough time to complete both the registration and application processes, as both may take a few days.

These are two grant rounds dedicated to supporting non-profit, voluntary, and social enterprise organisations in the vicinity of either the Meenadreen or Derrysallagh Wind Farms. The funds aim to support social, cultural, and environmental development of communities neighbouring the wind farms.

The Energia Meenadreen Community Fund supports eligible organisations delivering projects within a 14km radius of the Meenadreen Wind Farm, with priority given to projects within 10km. Projects based in the immediate vicinity of the wind farm are particularly encouraged to apply.
Grants of up to €10,000 are available.
Organisations may apply for no more than 50% of their previous year’s income.
The Energia Derrysallagh Community Fund supports eligible organisations delivering projects within a 10kmm radius of the Derrysallagh Wind Farm, with priority given to projects within 5km. Projects based in the immediate vicinity of the wind farm are particularly encouraged to apply.
Grants of up to €8,000 are available.
Organisations may apply for no more than 50% of their previous year’s income.
