Neoen Community Benefit Fund 2026

Neoen is a solar energy company operating three solar farms at different sites in Leinster: Hilltown, Co. Meath; Hortland, Co. Kildare; and Millvale, Co. Wicklow.

To support the communities around each of these sites, Neoen has created a Community Benefit Fund. This fund is administered in partnership with Community Foundation Ireland and seeks to support project initiatives that:

  • Strengthen local community engagement and development
  • Enhance sustainability, biodiversity, and climate action
  • Support education, recreation, and cultural activities.

Charities and community groups can apply for a minimum of €1,000 up to a maximum of €5,000.

The Fund is open for applications on Monday, 16th February 2026 and will close on Friday, 20th March at 5pm.

Eligible projects must take place within 10km of one of the three solar farms. Click below to view their locations on Google Maps.

Not all organisations and projects will necessarily be eligible. It is essential that you carefully read the Grants Criteria before applying.
