GRANT SCHEMES OPEN TO APPLICATIONS
- Small Grants Scheme
The Small Grants Scheme aims to assist projects working to respond to isolation and to develop a more diverse society.
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and assessed three times per year.
2009 Closing Dates:
27th February (successful grantees will receive their grants in April)
30th July (successful grantees will receive their grants in September)
30th October (successful grantees will receive their grants in December)

Please read the ‘Grantmaking Policy and Guidelines’ prior to submitting an application. To submit your application please email it as an attachment to info@foundation.ie. Your application will be acknowledged within five working days.
• The OLC Ireland Trust Fund
The OLC Ireland Trust Fund is managed by The Community Foundation for Ireland on behalf of The Sisters of Our Lady of Charity. The Fund will endeavour to support projects that most closely fit the criteria of organisations’ working with women tackling addictions, prostitution and trafficking, violence and abuse. The goal of the fund is to provide resources which will help educate, develop and enhance the lives and dignity of marginalised women.

The 2009 Closing dates for applications will be March 31st, June 30th, September 30th and December 31st. The grants will be awarded in April, July, October and January.
- The Ray Murphy Fund
The Ray Murphy Fund will make grants to build leadership within the community sector over 10 years, 2008 - 2017. The grants will be for a maximum of €4,000 each and 5 grants will be awarded per year.
The fund is aimed at Chief Executives (or equivalent) within the community and voluntary sector.
The fund will support CEOs to reflect on their leadership role within the community
Grants from this fund will provide CEOs with the opportunity access leadership-related education or training.
The Community Foundation for Ireland regrets that it will not accept applications for courses which are not centrally focused on Leadership-related education or training.
The fund will not cover regular Degrees or Post-Graduate courses

The Application Form for the Ray Murphy Fund is not freely available. Potential applicants should email the Grants Officer describing their role as CEO or equivalent in their organisation, and details of the Leadership-related education or training they would like to undertake
