Cathal McCarthy is 2009 Monaghan Person of the Year

The Co Monaghan Fund Chair, Cathal McCarthy was named Rehab Monaghan Man of the Year at an event in Monaghan on April 3. Cathal, a developer by trade, has been an amazing community activist and voluntary fundraiser for many a year. Though now living in Co Meath he has never forgotten his Ballybay roots and continues to be involved in many important initiatives for the Monaghan, including being a founder member of The Co Monaghan Fund. The Community Foundation for Ireland extends its congratulations to Cathal and is very proud to be associated with him.
