Calling on Solicitors for the Best Will in the World Week

Legacy Promotion Ireland is a coalition of over 60 charities in Ireland including The Community Foundation. They raise public awareness of the importance of making a will and leaving charitable bequests. See http://www.mylegacy.ie It is well documented that many people like leaving a legacy, whether it is an entire estate or a modest sum, to benefit others after they have gone. On September 13th 2011 a new campaign was launched encouraging people to visit their local solicitor during the week commencing Monday 17th October to have a will drawn up or changed and to consider leaving a legacy to their favourite charity. Solicitors who would like to participate will be listed on http://www.mylegacy.ie and members of the public can book the consultations directly with the participating solicitors generating new and repeat business for you. To participate in the campaign and offer these consultations you are asked to offer a charge of €50 per client
