The Community Foundation for Ireland, through The Women’s Fund has provided funding to SAFE Ireland to host their upcoming summit. This landmark summit will gather leaders from around the world to collaborate on the social change that needs to happen to make Ireland one of the safest countries in the world for women and children.
Among other incredible speakers at this event will be: Eve Ensler, creator of The Vagina Monologues, Tony Award winning playwright, performer and activist; Lynn Rosenthal, the first ever special adviser to the White House on violence against women; Dr. Gabor Maté, on childhood impacts on health connected with the need for social change; Leigh Goodmark, author of A Troubled Marriage: Domestic Violence and the Legal System, Professor of Law and trial attorney; Colm O’Gorman, Executive Director of Amnesty International Ireland and founder of One in Four; Louise O’Neill, Author of Asking for It and Rory O’Neill AKA Panti Bliss, accidental activist for inclusion and gender discombobulator.
