The event focused on raising women’s awareness of philanthropy, the Women's Fund for Ireland and specific issues facing women in Ireland today which the Women's Fund is aiming to support. Successful Advisor Event May 17, 2011

The Community Foundation for Ireland, with Philanthropy Ireland, and hosted by KPMG held a professional advisor philanthropy seminar on May 17th. Perhaps overshadowed by the arrival later in the day of the Queen, it is part of The Community Foundation’s ongoing programme to help advisors increase their awareness and understanding of philanthropy and their comfort in raising the topic with clients. There were twenty five attendees from a range of tax, accounting, wealth management and legal firms.
