Impacts

Alongside our generous donors, we support a number of social issues in Ireland, from supporting women and girls to tackling homelessness. This section highlights some key impacts of our work and showcases how giving back in a meaningful and strategic way can make tangible and long-lasting changes to society. Many of these issues also have dedicated thematic funds associated with them so you can support causes close to your heart.

Children & Young People

We have supported the development of children and young people in Ireland for a number of years through a variety of ways. Older People

It is estimated that by 2041, people aged over 65 will account for 22% of the population in Ireland, compared to some 11% today. A society can be judged by how it takes care of its older people. We recently set up a dedicated long-term philanthropic fund focussed on this area called The Older Persons’ Fund.

Current priorities are the prevention of violence against women and the empowerment of women to take leadership roles in communities.

With 12% of our population from ethic and racial minorities, a thriving Ireland is a multicultural one. Many from ethnic minorities are native Irish, many more are Irish citizens. We want an Ireland where they are at home and where there is no 'them', only us.

However, we know from our support of this sector, finding a solution is not simple. It takes a long-term and strategic approach to tackling the root causes. Alongside our donors, we have awarded almost €3 million to this issue since we began our work.
