Women in Philanthropy Event

Following two successful seminars on women and philanthropy in 2010, we will be running a breakfast seminar in Dublin on May 31st. At the event, guests will hear from a number of high profile philanthropists and leaders in women’s issues.

The women's seminars commenced, last year, when we set up The Women’s Fund, Ireland’s first dedicated fund for women’s causes. The May event will also feature stories from a number of recipients of Women’s Fund grants. 

Confirmed speakers include:
• Marcelle Speller: Philanthropist and Channel 4 Secret Millionaire, Marcelle after selling her dotcom travel website Holiday Rentals in 2005 for a significant sum, helped set up Localgiving.com, is a trustee of The Hampshire Community Foundation and supports the Helen Bamber Foundation, which works with victims of torture.
